How we began
The Bungoma Basketball League (BBL) began as a passionate effort by local basketball enthusiasts to create a structured platform for competitive play and talent development in the region. What started with a few community games has grown into a well-organized league that unites teams from schools, colleges, and neighborhoods.
BBL provides young athletes with opportunities to showcase their skills, build character, and connect through the spirit of sport.

Currently, the league boasts a dynamic mix of teams including Fsk Tigers, Kimilili Sonics, Jogoo Club, Bungoma Polytechnic, Kisiwa Technical, Malaba All Stars, and several others from within and beyond the county.
Each team brings unique energy, talent, and commitment to the game, enriching the competition and strengthening the basketball culture in the region.
The growing participation also highlights the league’s increasing popularity and impact.
These teams represent a blend of institutional, community-based, and emerging clubs, making BBL a true reflection of grassroots sports development.
